Grass Roots Conservative Movement on Massachusetts South Coast seeks to elect Fall River Dentist to Congress

This video, which was not produced by the Steinhof for Congress campaign, but by an independent film maker, is another indication that a strong, legitimate, grass roots conservative movement is growing on the Massachusetts South Coast.

Residents are tired of being represented by high falooten liberals who talk the talk, but in the end only succeed in turning what was once one of the most prosperous areas of the State into the equivalent of a third world country.

We've had enough of avowed socialists who publicly demonstrate disdain for the private sector, the US Military, and traditional moral values. It's time to get the Massachusetts South Coast and the MA Congressional 4th District back on the right track. Be sure to go to your designated polling place on Sept 6, 2012 and request a Republican ballot. When conservatism is tried, it always succeeds Be sure to vote for the GOP candidate who is the only life long resident of Massachusetts as well as the district and the most conservative candidate on the ballot. We don't have time for either liberal Democrats, liberal Republicans, or so called conservatives who have a record of heading for the tall grass whenever they're asked about difficult fiscal or social issues in the public arena i.e a pledge for no new taxes or opposition to abortion. There is too much at stake, to take a chance on uncertainty. Vote for Dr David Steinhof for Congress from Fall River, MA

It's OK to be angry

It’s OK to be angry

Ephesians 4:26 Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger( NASB)

This just happened to be the verse I opened my Bible up to today with the “Through the Bible with Les Feldick” Bible Study I’ve been working through for over a year both on TV and during my morning quiet time with the pamphlet transcriptions his ministry publishes, along with both the King James version and the New American Standard Version of the Bible. This was one of those mornings when God reached down to me and spoke to me personally, as I read the same comments that Les spoke regarding this verse on his program, which was actually taped in 1999, I believe.

My family has been  going through a great deal of stress since my 91 year old mother had surgery for an arterial bleed in her brain on July 8, 2012. We have all been quite touchy and have lost our temper at times. The terrible heat of summer hasn't helped any, either. So reading this was exactly what I needed to see this morning

Be angry (that’s one of the human parts of our nature), and we’re going to get angry occasionally, but we don’t have to lose control of our anger. So the admonition is to be angry and sin not. Don’t let it become something of your nature that is uncontrollable. I personally don’t think that a believer can have uncontrollable temper tantrums . Now we can all get angry, but we centainly can and should control it. So if there’s something that basically wrong with a person, then I have to wonder if God had done a work of redemption. We have this certain amount of freedom that we can be upset by things, but not to the place that it becomes sinful or that it has an effect on our family and loved ones, and co-workers. And for goodness sake, if you want to keep your health then don’t take it to bed with you.

There’s nothing that will ruin your health quicker than to have these bugs literally churn in your stomach with anger. You can get mean ulcers for being upset often. So always remember it’s OK to be angry.

Check out Through the Bible with Les Feldick  on the ION channel on TV  Mon –Fri 9:00 – 9:30 AM EST or go to his website. If you don’t read the bible regularly this will help get you started regardless of what church you attend, protestant or catholic.

Ryan VP Pick Is a Step in the Right Direction

As someone who considers himself a true conservative, I’ve always felt that I must support the most conservative candidate running, whether we’re talking about a national race or a state race. This view, quite often, creates conflict with those republicans who are obsessed with the highly over-rated notion of elect ability, which more times than not  totally ignores the ideological criteria that prompted them to identify themselves as republicans in the first place.

I’m so tired of hearing about a candidate’s ability to raise money as being the preeminent criteria for deciding who to support, particularly during a primary campaign. If ideology is ignored then what is the purpose of pouring all our energies into electing a candidate, who will always fall short of our greatest hopes and expectations. If you pick a candidate that can energize the base, the money will be there at the end, I like to believe..

In the present campaign for electing a republican to the Presidency, it seems to me that the Republican establishment as well as the candidate they have backed from the very start of the political season, Mitt Romney, has gone out of its way to ignore ideology, at least until the announcement yesterday in Norfol. VA, that pro-lifer and conservative fiscal policy guru, Paul Ryan,  had been selected as Romney’s choice for vice president.

Now the tables should begin to turn. Not only will Obama be forced to defend his failed policies, and inability to produce a budget that even his own party can support in the Senate, but the Republican political consultants will also be forced to embrace conservative principles they believe, but have been reluctant to openly embrace for fear of alienating those precious independents, who have such a difficult time doing any real independent thinking, it seems.

I've never understood why the media trips over themselves every election finding out what independents think, rather than the base of both parties. It won't be the independents knocking on doors in most cases or holding signs at busy intersections. Anyway...

Hopefully the choice of Ryan will amount to more than simply an olive branch to Conservatives, but a real indication that Romney is determined to rescue this nation from the same disastrous fate caused by out of control debt, spending, and entitlements that are presently sending European socialist economies into the abyss.

Although there are other aspects of Obama’s policies weighing heavily on the minds of conservatives like the dismantling of the greatest health care system, the greatest military, and the greatest economy  the world has ever known, the decision to select Paul Ryan as VP certainly is a step in the right direction.

Obama's Other Communist Mentor....Alice Palmer

Here's a new name for you....Alice Palmer..... to go along with the other communist, Frank Marshal Davis,  who played key roles mentoring and molding Obama into the lovable little fuzzball he isn't. After watching this 25 minute speech given by Trevor Loudon, you will be convinced that Our Communist loving, America hating President is an even greater threat to this country  than we already suspected, which makes the up and coming election even more critical. Thanks to Iron Mike of the Rabid Republican Blog for posting this frightening video first.

MA GOP Primary Debates Held in Fall River for 4th and 9th Districts

Yesterday enthusiastic Republican voters in both the MA 9th and 4th Congressional Districts gathered at the Fall River Elks Lodge to watch two interesting debates between Dr David Steinhof of Fall River (seated left in the photo above and Dr Elizabeth Childs of Brookline, MA; and Adam Chaprales of Barnstable (seated  left in the photo below and Christopher Sheldon of Plymouth
Both debates were sponsored by the Fall River City Committee and the Westport Republican Town Committee and were moderated by Lonnie Brennan of Vote Core Values.Com

Notable in his absence from the first debate between candidates from the 4th Congressional District was Sean Bielat, originally from New York,  who was defeated in 2010 by Barney Frank. No explanation was given to the audience for his decision not to attend this important opportunity for South Coast residents to meet the Republican Primary candidates in person and to hear their views on the issues.

The tone of both debates struck me as surprisingly civil for a Southcoast congressional debate, without the presence of the defensive, feisty and  combative presence of Barney Frank, contrasted with the personal attacks, condescending demeanor, and smirking presence, usually associated with Sean Bielat.

Janine Izzo, a resident of the 4th District seated in the audience told me during the break, after I observed that it struck me as unusual to attend a debate that lacked those type of vicious personal attacks:

“I like the fact that the candidates discussed things intelligently, which gave the audience a chance to familiarize themselves with the issues at hand”, to which I agreed that it was not only good for the education of the voters in the district but gave the candidates, who hope to represent the GOP in the general election, practice they will need when debating Democrats in a state where the GOP only includes 11% of registered voters, despite the fact that nationally the numbers are much more balanced.

In the first debate as well as the second,  candidates were asked questions by a select committee, following their introductory remarks, on a wide range of issues including illegal immigration; public sector spending vs private sector spending; the influence and control the United Nations should have over US sovereignty; abortion and Roe vs Wade; Obama Care; energy policy and solutions for economic growth in the South Coast area.

 Both candidates favored enforcement of present immigration laws and opposition to amnesty; cutbacks in public sector spending; policies that enhance growth in the private sector; refusal to sign treaties that turn US sovereignty under control of the United Nations on Environmental issues or control of the seas; repeal and replacement of ObamaCare; an independent energy policy based on traditional use of oil, gas, and coal, as well as projects like the Keystone pipeline, and fracking;

Dr Childs, Brookline psychiatrist, who is the former Commisioner of Mental Health during the Romney administration and who moved to Massachusetts from Ohio 26 years ago, favored giving illegal immigrants a limited time to get their green cards and opposed overturning Roe vs Wade and the defunding of Planned Parenthood., while favoring the decrease of abortions, without explaining how she planned to do that.

Although she favors repeal of ObamaCare she believes all Americans should have health care, even if they choose not to have it, apparently,  She also favors means testing for Medicare, Medicaid, and social security; reduction of spending down to the historical average of 17% of GDP; and the establishment of enterprise zones as part of her economic plan for the District.

Following her closing remarks, in which she reiterated her positions and thanked the Fall River and Westport city and town committees for sponsoring the debates, she expressed her interest in having as many debates as possible, which was an obvious dig at Sean Bielat, who was a no show for the debate, as mentioned above, as well as for all debates in the 2010 primary campaign.

Some believe his lack of live debate experience hurt him in his campaign against the more experienced Barney Frank in 2010, in which many times he appeared inept and unprepared when answering difficult questions.  She also urged members of the audience to get involved in her campaign by contacting her through her website at

Some of the answers given by Steinhof, a dentist in Fall River, MA, who has worked his whole life in the private sector  included a belief in strong enforcement of  present laws on immigration and opposition to amnesty; that life begins at conception; Roe vs Wade needs to be overturned;  all aspects of socialized medicine must be opposed;  and a balanced budget must be passed along with significant cuts in spending on bureaucratic agencies including the EPA and the Department of Energy, which he viewed as a hindrance to growth in the private energy sector of the economy.

The newly redistricted 4th Congressional District includes cities and towns that stretch from the communities of Newton and Brookline in the north to Fall River and Somerset in the South. (http://www.massra.com/images/mauscongdist4.jpg)

Steinhof who is an actual life long resident of the 4th district and believes he understands the issues facing South coast residents better than any of the other candidates spoke of  South Coast Rail, the Breakpoint Towers which he termed as wasteful, and urged that Fall River develop its potential to become a first class commercial shipping port, before urging residents to volunteer to help his campaign by contacting him through his website at http://www.davidsteinhof.com/

Following a brief intermission, the second debate between candidates for the newly redistricted 9th District began between Chaprales, who was the youngest selectman ever elected in Sandwich and Sheldon, who is a management consultant and Plymouth County Study Commissioner.

Although this debate took place in a location outside of their district, the two political committees are to be commended for allowing the two cape cod residents to address the concerns of other South Coast residents, from  neighboring towns and cities as well. .

The district representing the Cape and the Islands now includes the heavily democratic New Bedford area in which retiring congressman Barney Frank received god-like devotion during his 30 year reign, particularly from the powerful commercial fishing lobby that never blamed him, for some reason, for the excessive behavior of  environmental extremists carrying out the policies of the Obama administration and the United Nations scheme known as "Agenda 21 and sustainable development", which continues to pose a significant threat to private property rights in Massachusetts as well as in all matters pertaining to the world's oceans.

So being from New Bedford myself, I listened with great interest to see if they had studied the complexities of the issues affecting New England fishermen. Chaprales twice repeated that regulations on catch shares for lobstermen should be backed be scientific data. “Lobsters are being driven further out to sea  due to the warmer waters, not because of a decrease in the supply of lobsters”, he stated, which is very true.

It was Sheldon however who clearly had done his homework on the whole scenario involving NOAA and the devastating reductions in catch shares announced last week that will further cripple the New Bedford fishing industry. His detailed knowledge of the problems facing the industry was impressive and is certain to help him with residents of the largest city in the district during his campaign.

Many of the other answers given seemed similar to those given by David Steinhof and Elizabeth Childs in the previous debate, but no one in the audience seemed to mind, as both candidates handled the questions confidently and articulately, without attacking each other personally.

On the issue of abortion both seemed to be opposed to Roe vs Wade, although Chaprales sounded very much like Sean Bielat of the 4th district, who believes the controversial legislation is settled law, which even Barney Frank pointed out in a 2010 debate is incorrect due to the nature of the narrowly divided 5/4 decision, which was based on a previously non existent constitutional right to privacy.

“Abortion is terrible”, Sheldon stated and favored cutting off funding for planned parenthood as well as taking the abortion issue out of the hands of the federal government and sending it back to the states in line with the 10th amendment  of the US Constitution. Neither however would go as far as to suggest a constitutional amendment outlawing the murder of innocent babies in the womb would be needed to protect the most vulnerable among us.

Sheldon opposed providing a pathway to citizenship  for illegal immigrants and expressed distrust in the United Nations.

Both candidates  believed troops should be withdrawn from Afganistan and supported a strong, independent energy policy in the private sector with less control and interference by the EPA and the Department of Energy.

Additionaly. Chaprales expressed opposition the the Cape Wind project, which is a sensitive issue down on the Cape.

By far the most oft repeated phrase of the afternoon heard in both debates was “ “Government needs to stop picking winners and losers” when discussing the importance of the  free market in growing the private sector of the economy

In closing, moderator Lonnie Brennan closed the debate appropriately by encouraging the audience to “latch on to a candidate that you like and get involved in their campaigns”.

In retrospect it was a great afternoon for democracy on the Massachusetts South Coast. It's just too bad that not every republican candidate running for congress held the residents of one of the most economically depressed and neglected areas in the State with as much respect and consideration as the four candidates, who put their fears of making mistakes aside, to courageously debate their opponents in the first real opportunity to return Republican representation to the US Congress from the Massachusetts South Coast in many decades.

RNC Adopts Resolution Exposing Agenda 21

UPDATE: The Republican National Committee approved the resolution exposing Agenda 21 at their Winter Meeting, January 13, 2012. The resolution will be recommended for adoption into the Republican Party Platform at the 2012 Convention. See the resolution below.

It has been reported that the Republican National Committee passed a resolution exposing Agenda 21 for what it is: a disregard for American freedom, private property rights, and a key player in the Leftist move toward a one world government. Agenda 21 (ICLEI) assaults the very foundation of America. The RNC has not yet made an official statement or released the resolution. We call on the RNC to release this immediately, and we salute the individuals who signed this document.

Text of the RNC Resolution:
RNC Resolution Exposing United Nations Agenda 21
WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of extreme environmentalism, social engineering, and global political control that was initiated at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992; and,
WHEREAS, the United Nations Agenda 21 is being covertly pushed into local communities throughout the United States of America through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) through local “sustainable development” policies such as Smart Growth, Wildlands Project, Resilient Cities, Regional Visioning Projects, and other “Green” or “Alternative” projects; and
WHEREAS, this United Nations Agenda 21 plan of radical so-called “sustainable development” views the American way of life of private property ownership, single family homes, private car ownership and individual travel choices, and privately owned farms; all as destructive to the environment; and,
WHEREAS, according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy, social justice is described as the right and opportunity of all people to benefit equally from the resources afforded us by society and the environment which would be accomplished by socialist/communist redistribution of wealth; and,
WHEREAS, according to the United Nations Agenda 21 policy National sovereignty is deemed a social injustice; now therefore be
RESOLVED, the Republican National Committee recognizes the destructive and insidious nature of United Nations Agenda 21 and hereby exposes to the public and public policy makers the dangerous intent of the plan; and therefore be it further
RESOLVED, that the U.S. government and no state or local government is legally bound by the United Nations Agenda 21 treaty in that it has never been endorsed by the (U.S.) Senate, and therefore be it further
RESOLVED, that the federal and state and local governments across the country be well informed of the underlying harmful implications of implementation of United Nations Agenda 21 destructive strategies for “sustainable development” and we hereby endorse rejection of its radical policies and rejection of any grant monies attached to it, and therefore be it further
RESOLVED, that upon the approval of this resolution the Republican National Committee shall deliver a copy of this resolution to each of the Republican members of Congress, all Republican candidates for Congress, all Republican candidates for President who qualify for RNC sanctioned debates, and to each Republican state and territorial party office.

The National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA)  , of which I am a proud member in Massachusetts (MARA 9th District Chapter) has long led the charge to restore conservative values and principles to the RNC, and we believe this is a sign that our message  is being heard. The NFRA Board passed a slate of resolutions at the NFRA Presidential Preference Convention in October, including the following on Agenda 21:
WHEREAS, the National Federation of Republican Assemblies recognizes that the pillars of freedom and liberty are life, liberty and property. As such, we seek to identify those candidates that understand and support these same noble characteristics of our great nation and that it is the combination of these truths that makes America “exceptional”; and
WHEREAS, some little known facts about comprehensive land use planning, known as Agenda 21 include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • The UN’s Agenda 21 was revealed to the world at the Rio Earth Summit II in 1992;
  • Agenda 21 was signed into soft law in 1992 and requires only administrative approval and not legislative approval;
  • The UN’s Agenda 21 was granted administrative approval when President Clinton, through Executive Order, created the first President’s Council on Sustainable Development;
  • The President’s Council on Sustainable Development created the domestic plan known as “Sustainable America”;
  • Official non-Government Organizations known as NGOs are certified through the UN based on their compliance and willingness to institute UN created policies like Agenda 21 and the "Wildlands Project". Examples of NGOs include, but are not limited to: the Sierra Club, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, American Planning Association, and ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability; formally known as the “International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives.”;
  • GATT, NAFTA and other trade agreements also contain components that are derivatives from the economic components of Agenda 21;
  • Income redistribution as a form of “economic justice” is a tool to be used by Agenda 21;
  • Agenda 21 is anti-property rights;
  • The terms “Sustainable Development”, “Smart Growth”, "Comprehensive Land Use Plan”, and “Sustainable Agriculture” are domestic equivalents of Agenda 21; and
  • The Global Biodiversity Assessment Report identifies private property ownership, single family homes, traditional agriculture, and consumerism as “unsustainable.”; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that we, the NationalFederation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA), oppose the nondomestic policies of Agenda 21 based on failure to recognize private property rights as one of America’s cornerstones of freedom and liberty; be it further
RESOLVED, that Article one, Section ten of the Constitution prohibits any State or subordinate governmental body from contracting with nondomestic entities such as ICLEI; and be it
RESOLVEDthat the NFRA shall not endorse a candidate or elected official including the office of President that refuses to oppose the same.

MA 4th District Candidate Steinhof: Sean Bielat Supports Agenda 21 UN Takeover Plan?

Dr. David Steinhof is a
dentist in Fall River,
MA, and has worked his whole life in the private sector.  He is the
conservative choice in this year's GOP primary for the MA 4th
Congressional District.  For more information or media availability, go to
www.davidsteinhof.com or contact Campaign Director Scott Anderson.
_____________________________________________________________________________

Press Release
David Steinhof
for release:
August 2, 2012

    As a candidate in 2010, Sean Bielat touted "Smart Growth" and congratulated Governor Patrick, Lt. Governor Murray and members of the Democrat federal delegation for purchasing 30 miles of track from CSX Corporation which would connect Taunton, Fall River and New Bedford to Boston. He called it a "milestone to spur economic growth and improve the quality of life in Southeastern Massachusetts".
    He went on to croon that "federal and state government have a leadership role to play in strengthening our transportation infrastructure which makes economic development and smart growth in communities possible".

"Smart Growth"?
Does Sean Bielat know that "Smart Growth" is a big piece of the most intrusive elements of Agenda 21?
    Fast forward to campaign 2012. When asked about his thoughts on "HB1634" which requires establishing a committee to study the implementation of United Nation's Agenda21 into the state, counties, regional commissions, towns and cities, Bielat dodged the issue.
    On Friday, August 17th, 12:30 p.m., Dr. Barbara Ferrer, Boston's Commissioner for Public Health, along with Christina Lampe-Onnerud, former CEO, Boston Power and Ben Manski, representing Dr. Jill Stein, the Green Party's Candidate for President of the United States, will be sponsoring "Green Fest EcoForum: "Massachusetts Environmental Vision - How will we achieve an environmentally sustainable economy?" It's advertised as "bringing together environmental, public health, political and green innovative perspectives".
    Guess who's on the speaker roster? Yup. Sean Bielat, "Candidate for US Congress (for Barney Frank's seat)"
    As a candidate, I am becoming aware of some of the intrusive implications affecting private property with the implimentation of Smart Growth and other Agenda 21policies. I strongly suggest Sean Bielat attend a conference on the subject and get informed in order to get himself on the right side of the majority of the voters in the 4th Congressional District who do not want any part of Agenda 21's tentacles entangled into their lives or the lives of their families.
