The MA GOP continues to find creative ways to stifle grass
roots enthusiasm and to provide more reasons for the 90% of MA registered voters,
who refuse to register as Republicans, to maintain their present status.
With the GOP allocation committee’s decision to decertify 17 delegates on an absurd technicality they appeared to make up on a whim, it is clear that the old cronyism is still alive and well in Massachusetts politics.
However, this dastardly deed is so blatant and the stench so appalling, I don't know why anyone would want to vote Republican in Massachusetts, other than to avoid the stench coming from across the isle, which is even more appalling, but not by much, I assure you.

Delegate candidates that were elected by voters with provisional ballots, including
many who were long time Republicans with a proven voting record, were denied
certification following the April 28, 2012 MA Republican Caucuses, in which Ron Paul supporters won the day by winning 17 of 27 positions for delegates to the National GOP Convention in Tampa.
Right now I’m so disgusted with the republican establishment here in Massachusetts , I can barely breathe.
These people, who pulled off this unconscionable stunt, are not republicans. They can’t be, which is why RINO (Republican In Name Only) is a fitting
description for the old guard, and I refuse to apologize for using that term, or for posting the photo above.
What is the problem? All candidates who sought to be designated as delegates to the convention should have been told
ahead of time to either pledge to vote for Romney on the first ballot, or sign an affidavit right then and there.
Once the election is over, however, it’s over. You can’t change the rules after the election, or in this case have two sets of rules, one for the delegate candidates you want and another for the delegate candidates you don’t want, which if I understand it correctly, is exactly what happened. You're either qualified to run before hand in any election, or you're not. Once it's over, it's over, even if Yogi didn't say that..

This is the same type of thing that happened in Gore vs Bush
in 2000, in Florida .
They didn’t like the results of the election so they went through all kinds of
gyrations to obtain a different set of results, by differentiating between chads and hanging chads etc., in
selected districts, and then even tried to convince the Florida Supreme Court to
alter the rules, in order to finally achieve the desired outcome. Fortunately the
US Supreme Court intervened and put a stop to that outragious plot, preventing what would have essentially resulted in a coup d’etat.
Conservative activists across the state of Massachusetts, who have been actively feuding
with entrenched GOP elitists, and achieving great gains, following the landslide
victory in the election of Republican State Committee members during the March
6th Republican Primary this year, now face the reality that the
establishment still has enough pull to get their way.
Dave Kopacz, president of the Massachusetts Republican
Assembly (MARA), said in a statement made on Facebook yesterday:
A Small handful of Mass GOP elitists have violated numerous party rules and state laws to take dictatorial control over the states political apparatus in order to strip delegate seats from duly elected Republicans and appoint their hand picked cronies. Massachusetts Republicans need to wake up and recognize that the small group of self entitled RINOs is more than willing to destroy the Party just to gain favor and position themselves for political appointments.
If this blatant level of fraud is allowed to stand, Massachusetts Republicans will be dead in the water and forever be blocked from participation or Party reform. The GOP cut 17 duly elected delegates after coercing them with signing a flawed affidavit that proclaims to help the signer to a future action. This is illegal! Many notories couldn’t even use the form supplied by the GOP and had to submit an attached Jurat just to attempt to fulfill the intent of this unprecedented demand.
However, some good did come out of this pitiful display of establishment arrogance. We were able to smoke out additional RINOs to target for replacement and shine the bright light of day on there sickening behavior.
Republican State Committeeman for the 1st Being recently elected to the Republican State Committee, part of my job is to help grow the Republican Party. I have absolutely no idea how the Republican leadership and the Allocation Committee thinks that disqualifying elected delegates, elected Republican delegates elected by Republicans in a Republican caucus makes any sense what-so-ever.
I am proud to have voted last Tuesday in favor of having the provisional caucus ballots counted with over 30 of my SC colleagues and will continue to support the elected caucus delegates.
So the saga continues, but I hope the rigged election of old
time entrenched, “conservative hating”
RINOs”, isn’t going to set the tone for the Romney administration, if Governor
Romney is indeed able to oust Barrack Obama this November, which I certainly hope he does. At the moment, I would say the prospects for a new era of honesty and integrity in politics are not good, if the caliber of Romney's political honchos here in the MA GOP, is typical of the caliber of GOP operatives and political appointees that will staff a Romney administration.
Oh boy...suddenly I feel ill again..

The following is a video, that was made prior to the final decision to decertify the delegates selected at the MA caucuses. Most understood that the euphoria they experienced, following the well organized, well deserved, and completely legal victory, which caught the MA GOP leadership sleeping at the wheel, would be short lived, based on public statements made by the "old guard elites", that began leaking out on the blogs, after Governor Romney received the serious kick in the groin, that he did that fateful day in late April.

GOP shenanigans regarding seating of elected delegates is nothing new. In 2000 Republican National Convention Credentials Committee in Philadelphia passed the following resolution: "Whereas the Republican National Convention's Committee on Credentials has had to repeatedly answer contests to delegates from Massachusetts because of their peculiar manner of selection that seems to promote cronyism and defeat democratic elections, the Committee on Credentials urges the Massachusetts State Committee to reconsider Rule 4.7 which allows the winning Presidential Candidate's State Committee to certify delegates and alternate delegates pledged to its candidate."
