I’m continuing where I left off in my previous post, Conservative Political Winds Hit Hard On Massachusetts South Coast, by taking a closer look at some of the players in the MA GOP in order to give social conservatives a little dose of reality about the forces that are arrayed against us like Celeste Wilson, (left) the MA GOP’s propaganda promoter and EX officio who recently called conservative organizations like MARA “dangerous” to the Mass GOP.
Those of us fighting in the trenches for the Sholley campaign in 2010 remember how she refused to put our press releases out as well as press releases for any other socially conservative organizations.
Now she is president of the Massachusetts Federation of Republican Women which is one more “Republican” organization in MA that has been thoroughly infiltrated by the left. She is hosting the MFRW luncheon meeting on April 21, 2012 that is loaded with liberal speakers including House Minority Leader Brad Jones(below) who tells new legislators that if they intend on not being invisible , they need to become a “team player” and understand that “around here” we do things one way___”the Romney way.
Other speakers on the podium that day will include Senate Minority Leader, Bruce Tarr; Representative Dan Winslow; Candidate Christopher Sheldon; and candidate Richard Tisei.(below)
Please note that Richard Tisei, author of the infamous “Bathroom Bill”, the most dangerous predatory bill to women and children in the state of Massachusetts is being supported by the Republican leadership in his run for office from the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District.
Of course it goes without saying that they refused to help a true social conservative, Bill Hudak, (above) who has decided to run a sticker campaign in lieu of a full time campaign and is hoping to receive support from Tea Partiers, 9/12ers and the Fatherhood Coalition.
Tisei, on the other hand, is getting financial support from Richard Mehlman, who is the openly gay Republican, like Tisei, who managed George W Bush’s re-election campaign in 2004, according to yesterdays edition of The Hill.
Democrats used the news of the fundraiser, which was first reported by the Boston Globe, to argue that the Bush wing of the GOP had come out to support Tisei and a conservative agenda. Conservative agenda? My eye! I know what his agenda is and it ain’t conservative.
While I think of it. It has come to my attention that newly elected representative from the 12th Bristol District, Keiko Orrall, (above) from Lakeville, MA, who recently won her office in a special election for which many of us on the South Coast held signs for her, apparently has decided she no longer wants anything to do with certain social conservatives down here, who pulled strings and worked their butt off for her last year. Could it be that some of the Rino operatives like Susan Blais, Brock Cordeiro, or Brad Jones got to her? I suppose only her hairdresser knows for sure, but what a shame! Of course, I could be wrong, but we’ll see. My sources are usually pretty accurate.
Linda Rapoza, President of the "Mildred Fay Jefferson" 4th Congressional Chapter of the Massacusetts Republican Assembly (MARA) made some inciteful observations about this very subject in her latest post in the Rapoza Report when she eloquently stated: In too many cases, the newly elected official caves in to "pressure" from Beacon Hill to do things "a certain way" in order to get precious financial help for getting re-elected. Then why bother running for re-election? Who needs them? If their souls are for sale, what can they possibly offer us in a second term.
And that’s the problem folks. Social conservatives are under attack and we must never let our guard down. If we have any chance of taking our party back we must continue to put pressure on those who pridefully refer to themselves as conservatives and then fight vehemently against those who fight for traditional moral values. And I've got to tell you alot of these moderate country clubbers post regularly at Red Mass Group and to hear them talk you might think they were the most conservative Republicans in the universe until you take a closer look at how they avoid supporting social conservatives with impeccable credentials like the plague.
I’ve been told by Evangelical Christian teachers I respect that it’s not possible to legislate morality and I suppose I agree with that, but we certainly must oppose the forces of evil who are destroying our former culture based upon Christian/Judaeo values with blatantly evil legislation and policies like abortion, gay marriage, and enslavement to entitlement style governments with European style socialism and a single payer health care system that stifle the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness discussed in the Declaration of Independence that we are all endowed with by our creator. All these things certainly must fall within the realm of immoral behavior and must be an essential concern of anyone who considers themselve to be a true conservative.
Ronald Reagan's three legs of Conservatism consisted of social conservatism, fiscal conservatism, and national security conservatism. It is impossible to be a true Conservative and not be willing to support Social Conservative concerns. It is also impossible to win elections when you only run as a wishy washy moderate, avoiding the discussion of social issues, and refuse to differentiate yourself from Democrats. We need to purge the MA GOP of all those in positions of power and influence who are intolerant of Social Conservatives and we need to do it quickly, before 11% dwindles to nothingness and total irrelevance, which is not far from where we're at now in this God forsaken political wilderness of Massachusetts.

I'm posting as "anonymous", because Tom is apparently happy to believe anything that his anonymous "sources" tell him. It seems unlikely that Tom has any insight into the innermost intentions of Keiko Orrall, because he clearly does not even know what town she is from!
ReplyDeleteYou're right. She's from Lakeville, not Middleboro, and I did know that. I made the correction, in the article. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteBTW, although many of the readers who comment on this blog use anonymous for their screen name, which is their prerogative, none of my sources do. They are all known to me, and in this case are well known within GOP circles as being very reliable.
