The Rising Conservative Tide in the Fourth Congressional District

Attention Massachusetts voters! If conservatism is ascending throughout much of the country, and polls clearly indicate that it is, I must ask you why it should be any different here in the state where the Revolutionary War actually began. As someone who grew up in a blue collar Democrat family in New Bedford and what is now the Massachusetts Fourth Congressional District but became a Conservative during his years in the US Navy,I understand how difficult it is to break the habit of voting for Democratic candidates every time there is an election. In this area I still feel like I have to whisper when I’m expressing my conservative world view with every ounce of passion I can muster, which I’ve always felt was strange because I never felt my viewpoint was that much different than most other thinking souls from this part of the country. In fact I’ve always felt that most of the people in this state, not counting the liberal elites, were actually conservative whether they knew it or not. I say that because even if citizens didn’t vote that way, they certainly displayed conservative family values and a love for the principles upon which this nation was founded. And this dovetails with a recent Gallop poll that says 40% of the people in this country say they are conservative, 20% say they are liberal, and 36% say they are independent which tells me if people are true to their conservative family and fiscal values when they enter the voting booth during the 2010 elections we can take back our country by rejecting the demagoguery of Central Planners like Barney Frank and replace him with a good man and successful entrepreneur like Earl Sholley who like Ronald Reagan also believes that “America’s greatness lies with its people not it’s government
A very strong Conservative candidate who developed a successful landscaping business with his own talents and ingenuity, Earl has already announced his candidacy and is planning on ousting one of the people most responsible for the nation’s banking and financial crisis as well as the nearly 10% unemployment rate throughout the country thanks to his support of the fraudulent Stimulus Bill. And that is an undisputable fact. He also intends to point out that the day Barney Frank assumed control of the House Banking committee could someday prove to be one of the darkest days in American history, but we can stop the tide folks by ousting this idiot.

And the tide is indeed rising folks. Don’t give up. The gubernatorial elections on Nov 3 in Virginia and especially New Jersey proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that this conservative tide is real. New Jersey is just as blindly Democrat as Massachusetts but people are fed up with out of control taxation, deficit spending, and a scary, scary radical agenda coming out of the White House that has taken over the financial and banking sectors, the auto industry, and now is out to destroy the greatest health care system in the world which will allow the government to control every aspect of our lives.

Yes there is a not so silent revolution taking place in the country against the socialist/Marxist agenda of Barney Frank and his cronies. But there is also a revolt taking place in the so called moderate Republican camps which are really Liberal Republican or “Democrat Lite” camps. This was evident in the 25th Congressional district in upstate New York on Nov 3 where the conservative candidate overcame impossible odds one month ago to come within two points of defeating Democrat Bill Owens as well as forcing radical leftist Republican Dede Scozzafava to withdraw from the race days before the election. She then endorsed the Democrat candidate in a despicable move which would have made RINO Republicans (Republican In Name Only) like Collin Powell and John McCain proud.

The truth is the Conservative tide has been moving against prosperity and economy destroying, central planning liberals like Barney Frank, all year starting with the Tea party movement and at town hall meetings that took place this summer all over the country including one in Dartmouth, MA where Barney Frank compared a woman to a “dining room table” in his usual condescending and sarcastic manner. At the time I became aware that a genuine grassroots movement opposing these dishonest and corrupt liberal politicians who many of us believe are purposefully destroying our capitalistic economic system and replacing liberty with tyranny much the way it happened in the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Cuba.

No, it’s not too late. There’s something in the air. We can still save this nation by latching onto the Conservative tide that had such a big impact on the November 3rd elections. Do your part by learning more about Conservatism by listening to and studying the writings of great conservative thinkers but above all visit the web sites of Conservatives running for office like Earl Sholley at http://sholleyforcongress.us/ and learn more about his beliefs and ideas, and then make up your own mind. Don’t just vote blindly for a Liberal democrat or a (RINO), because that’s what Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, all your uncles, aunts and 56 first cousins did. Think and Pray for guidance before you submit your vote. Please! The future of America, as well as Massachusetts depends on it.
