How Kerry Ruined My "Big Day"

Last Sunday, Senator John Kerry delivered the commencement address at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where I was in attendance to receive the Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. I had been working towards this moment for five years, which for a student in his late 50’s had been no easy accomplishment, let me assure you. On a day, however, that was a major milestone in my life and should have orbited me into a state of perpetual euphoria, especially after graduating Magna Cum Laude, I entered a state of listless depression, as I listened to a United States Senator commit treason against the United States. Foolishly pursuing his party's misguided strategy of providing aid and comfort to our nation’s enemies, this evil, classless, lowlife slashed away relentlessly at whatever support may still exist for our troops as they struggle against a complex web of enemies. And if there was any doubt to begin with, Kerry proved convincingly that this web includes not only former supporters of Saddam and Islamic terrorists supported by Iran but also left wing "America Haters"walking the halls of the United States Congress. And if that wasn't bad enough I had to listen to a "touchy feely" diatribe supporting global warming, an unproven theory supported by many liberal pseudo-scientists and jealous anti-american haters everywhere who see it as a wonderful opportunity to bring the United States down from it's present position of world economic domination. He concluded his speech by urging some very impressionable " twenty somethings" to build a new country. Well why do we need a new country, I thought, when we already live in the greatest country in the history of the world, despite human imperfections, thanks to a loving and gracious God and many brave souls who have given their lives to preserve our freedoms and way of life.

If it was the Senator's intention to move his audience to action he succeeded as I left the commencement arena more determined than ever to stop John Kerry and his fellow "Bush Haters" from advancing their anti-american, anti-male, and anti christian/conservative agenda.

Before closing and reassuming my watch against the liberal onslaught on America, I will admit that there were moments of genuine humor. Don't get me wrong, now. I didn't find the long list of silly pop culture 'jokes" the least bit funny, but there was one moment resulting from boredom, when I could imagine what it would have been like if this condescending arrogant twit had attended public schools like most of the people in his audience had. I could almost here the faint banging sound coming from inside a locker where the local student brute squad would have stuffed him once a week whether he deserved it or not. This image alone brought a smile to my face and the much needed consolation that caused me to momentarily forget that he didn't even have enough respect for the ceremony and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth to wear the traditional commencement cap along with his bright red robe.

In conclusion, I had had enough so I chose to remain seated in silent protest during the massive standing ovation he received from thousands of "mush for brains graduates" and their brain washed parents. Out of respect for my fellow classmates I refused to express my comments to anyone at the affair on their special day. I only wish the school administration had shown me the same respect by not inviting such a left wing radical Kook to be the commencement speaker. But the time for diplomacy and concern for the feelings of others is over. Senior Chief has the Watch now and wild horses couldn't stop me from speaking out against this lunatic.
